Washington Trip, HOH Rainforest

We headed to the HOH rain forest yesterday morning to check out the only rain forest in this hemisphere. The HOH rain forest in Olympic National Park receives over 134 inches of rain per year, allowing for a remarkable variety of plants and trees. One of the first things we found was a pay phone near the visitor’s center topped with moss, Sarah thinks it was built by Keepler elves.

While I spent some time photographing on a nearby trail, Sarah and Genelle headed off on another and found what appears to by the hidden village of the Smurfs,

The rest of the day was spent resting before heading down to the beach for a sunset that didn’t happen, the beaches here have a lot of drift wood on them, here is Genelle standing on some,
